Each year, over 16 million travelers from all over the world come to visit Music City. Nashville got its nickname from the Queen of England when she heard the Fisk Jubilee Singers perform. She was so impressed, she said “You must be from that Music City” (referring to Nashville). It is not surprising that an educational institution was responsible for our proud name. Nashville is a city steeped in music history and tradition. We at Nashville Music Academy are proud to continue that tradition and inspire and educate future generations. While Broadway is the main attraction, there are many important sites where Educational Tourism has its place. For example – North Nashville where we are located, is home to Fisk and the Grammy Winning TSU Aristocrats.

There are many options for the Educational Tourist to choose from at Nashville Music Academy. We offer group classes for any instrument, in addition to one on one instruction. Any age or ability is welcome. There are also songwriting classes/workshops and programming that are specific to Nashville’s history (Gospel/Country/Bluegrass). These can be provided off-site or at our North Nashville location inside the historic Sangtuary Church (a church building that has served North Nashville for almost 100 years through various denominations). It is a unique experience to learn the styles and history from a bonafide Nashville musician. Many of our staff have published songs, credits on major records as session players and have toured the world with some of Country and Gospel’s biggest artists.
Individual lesson prices apply. Group rates are tailored to meet the specific needs of the organization. Please inquire via email at info@nashvillemusicacademy.org or call/text 615-521-1937. All major Credit Cards accepted.
