Johney Green

Johney Green is a trombonist, arranger, and composer currently living in Nashville Tennessee. Hailing from Knoxville Tennessee, Johney received a BM in commercial trombone performance from Belmont University. After completing university, Johney has performed with incredible artists and bands such as Natalie Grant, Grace Bowers, Chris Potter, and the Nashville African American Wind Symphony and has performed at iconic Nashville venues such as the Grand Ole Opry and the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. He has also provided his services as an arranger to artists like Dreamer Isioma and the Celestials. As a teacher, Johney aims to prepare his students for any musical situation using knowledge from his previous endeavors.
