NMA is proud to welcome Elliott McClain to the staff. He specializes in session recording and live performance. Blind since birth, Elliott started playing the piano when he discovered a keyboard and has been known ever since for his exceptional aural and improvisational skills in diverse musical styles.
Elliott has a Master of Music degree in commercial piano performance from Belmont University. As a freshman at Belmont University, Elliott was awarded the Woods Piano Scholarship by Belmont University’s School of Music, a four-year scholarship awarded annually to one freshman entering Belmont as a piano major.
We are excited about the opportunity to diversify our staff and provide our students with disabilities the proof they can overcome their obstacles with music.
